With a degree in creative writing from Columbia and six traditionally published books under her belt, Rea has helped hundreds of clients refine, hone, and craft their own ideas into full-fledged books. Whether it’s working on a book proposal to sell to a publisher, ghostwriting a memoir, or consulting on a great idea, Rea’s fifteen years in the publishing industry will clarify the message, mission, audience, and ultimately help find a home for a client’s work.

Maiya is an natural empath and master includer. As SimplyBe.’s only Project Manager, she develops and implements a method to our creative madness. She also lives her passion as Events Manager, helping clients, coworkers and the SimplyBe. Community connect offline with curated meetings and experiences. She marries these two roles perfectly thanks to her strategic creativity and knack for planning and timelines. She began coordinating large-scale events as the Director of Student Activities at the University of Missouri, where she led the planning and execution of all speaking engagements, concerts, and campus events for the undergraduate student body of 30,000.

Pooja understands the power of authentic connection. As SimplyBe.’s Communications Manager, Pooja builds targeted media strategies for SimplyBe. Agency and clientele, creates expert speaker kits and portfolio development to land national stages, and charts the course for social impact partnerships with the agency. Growing up in Mombasa, Kenya and leading United Nations’ youth initiatives gave her exposure to global affairs, humanitarian rights, and cultural complexes; she brings the intrinsic human element of any brand to life. Ingrid Cherry graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Journalism, a B.A. in English Literature, and a remarkably high E.Q. As SimplyBe.’s Marketing Manager, Ingrid has her hand in every part of the business, including ghostwriting, communications, and social media management. A knack for interpersonal and strategic communication, coupled with a passion for servant leadership enable Ingrid to convey information, ideas and emotions to any audience. She has a unique understanding of the SBA voice, and has never been afraid to take on more responsibility, which led her to single-handedly transform the SBA social channels, overseeing communications and engagement strategy for our private Facebook group, as well as our other platforms.
